RmindR

The RmindЯ module is a collaborative reminder tool. It allows users to send messages to other users from products, services, commercial proposals, orders, contracts, etc.

Overview

Features

The RmindЯ module does not add a dedicated menu, but adds an "RMINDЯ" button to item records to open a registration pop-up.

The recipient will receive an email notification and will see an alert in their main menu bar showing the number of RmindЯ messages received.

By clicking the notification icon, a list will be displayed, providing more details about the RmindЯ messages according to their main statuses.

The recipient is prompted to reply from the item record using the "RmindЯ" button.
The sender can then close the RmindЯ or reply to it in turn.

Configuration

Activation

To activate the module, open the module list page from the menus Home > Setup > Modules/Applications > Patas-Tools > RmindЯ.

Configuration

The module configuration allows you to: - Enable the functionality of a designated user in RmindЯ exchanges by activating the "Enable monkey-mode" option; - Enable email notifications to recipient(s) by activating the "Enable email sending" option.

In Practice

Creating an RmindЯ

From an item record, click the "RmindЯ" button to display the creation window. After creating an RmindЯ, the RmindЯ button turns red, indicating that an RmindЯ is already active for this item. NOTE: Each item can only be the source of one active RmindЯ at a time: you must close an existing RmindЯ before creating a new one.

Select the recipient from the drop-down list, enter a start date, and click Save. NOTE: - If no recipient is selected, the RmindЯ will be sent to all users. - The start date determines when the RmindЯ is taken into account in the counter displayed in the menu bar, based on the current date. - An RmindЯ exchange takes place between its sender and recipient. Designating a user as a reference user allows them to forward the RmindЯ. The creator can monitor the exchange and close it, but cannot participate in it.

The saved RmindЯ will be counted under "RmindЯ TO PROCESS" in the tooltip of the recipient user.

Receiving an RmindЯ

A received RmindЯ changes the notification icon in the menu bar of the recipient users and appears in the tooltip list according to its status.

If the email sending option has been enabled in the module configuration, the recipient(s) will receive an email.
NOTE: Sending emails through RmindЯ requires email sending to be enabled and configured in Dolibarr.

Clicking the icon displays the list of RmindЯ messages according to their status. A newly received RmindЯ is displayed under RmindЯ to process.

Replying to an RmindЯ

The item from which a response is expected displays the highlighted button. A click on this button opens a pop-up allowing the user to reply. In the available space, enter the response to the RmindЯ and submit it by clicking the "Send RmindЯ" button. To finalize the RmindЯ, simply click the "Close RmindЯ" button.

RmindЯ Exchanges and Tracking

After an RmindЯ is closed using the "Close RmindЯ" button, the RmindЯ will be assigned a closed status and will appear in either the "Closed Requests" or "Closed Responses" tab.

RmindЯ states and statuses:

• TO PROCESS:
These are RmindЯ messages for which the current user is the recipient and which are awaiting a response.
Note:
An RmindЯ to which the recipient has replied will be displayed:
- in the "To Close" tab of the creator's dashboard
- in the "Open" tab of the recipient's dashboard

• SUBMITTED:
These are RmindЯ messages for which the current user is the creator and which have not received a response.

• TO CLOSE:
These are RmindЯ messages for which the current user is the creator and which have received a response.

Note:
An RmindЯ can only be closed by its sender.

• OPEN:
These are RmindЯ messages to which the user has replied and which are still awaiting further action or closure.

• CLOSED REQUESTS:
These are RmindЯ messages for which the current user is the sender and which they have closed.

• CLOSED RESPONSES:
These are RmindЯ messages to which the current user has replied and which have been closed by the sender.

RmindЯ History

The "VIEW HISTORY" button in the RmindЯ list, accessible from the menu bar icon, displays all RmindЯ messages associated with the current user, whether as sender, recipient, or reference user.
