RmindR

The RmindЯ module is a collaborative reminder tool. It allows users to send messages to one another regarding products, services, commercial proposals, orders, contracts, etc.

Overview

Features

The RmindЯ module does not add a specific menu; instead, it adds an "RMINDЯ" button to item records that opens a pop-up window for creating a reminder.

The recipient receives a notification email and sees an alert in the main menu bar indicating the number of RmindЯs received.

Clicking the notification icon displays a list providing further details about the RmindЯs based on their current status.

The recipient is prompted to reply from the item record using the "RmindЯ" button.
The sender can then close the RmindЯ or reply in turn.

Setup

Activation

To activate the module, open the module list page via the menu path: Home > Setup > Modules/Applications > Patas-Tools > RmindЯ.

Configuration

The module configuration allows you to: - Enable the "referent user" feature for RmindЯ exchanges by activating "Enable monkey-mode"; - Send emails to recipients by activating the "Enable email sending" feature.

In Practice

Creating an RmindЯ

From an item's record, click the "RmindЯ" button to open the creation window. Once an RmindЯ is created, the RmindЯ button turns red, indicating that an RmindЯ is already active for that item. Note: Each item can only be the source of a single active RmindЯ; you must close the first RmindЯ before issuing a second one.

Select the recipient from the drop-down list, enter a start date, and click Save. Note: - If no recipient is selected, the RmindЯ will be addressed to all users. - The start date determines how the RmindЯ is factored into the menu bar count relative to the current date. - An RmindЯ exchange takes place between the sender and the recipient. Designating a user as the "referent" allows them to transfer the RmindЯ. The creator can track the exchange and close it, but cannot intervene.

The recorded RmindЯ will be counted under "RMINDЯS TO PROCESS" in the recipient user's tooltip.

Receiving an RmindЯ

A received RmindЯ changes the notification icon in the recipient users' menu bar and appears in the tooltip list according to its status.

If the email sending option has been enabled in the module configuration, the recipient(s) will receive an email.
Note: Sending emails via RmindЯ requires enabling and configuring email settings in Dolibarr.

Clicking the icon displays the list of RmindЯs by status: A newly received RmindЯ appears under RmindЯs to process.

Replying to an RmindЯ

The item awaiting a response displays a colored button. Clicking this button opens a pop-up for providing the response. Enter the response to the RmindЯ in the available space and submit it by clicking the "Send RmindЯ" button. To finalize the RmindЯ, simply click the "Close RmindЯ" button.

RmindЯ exchanges and tracking

Once an RmindЯ is closed using the "Close RmindЯ" button, it will switch to "Closed" status and appear in the "Closed Requests" or "Closed Responses" tab.
